Business

Many PhDs transition into business related careers like Consulting, S&M, Business Development, Venture Capital, Entrepreneurism, Equity Research and Technology Commercialization. Success in these careers will require excellent interpersonal skills.

The Professional Development and Career Office hosts a Business of Science Community that meets monthly for six months. Monthly sessions provide exposure to technology commercialization, equity research, business plans with the intent of helping PhD students and postdocs narrow down what business related careers interest them most.
